This is a study to evaluate the sustainability of seven automatic Test Systems (ATS) B-52 used to test and calibrate a variety of Line Replaceable Units on the B-52. Based on data acquired during the study, recommendations will be made for each tester on whether to a) keep the tester, b) buy a new commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) ATS, c) buy a new modified COTS ATS, or d) buy a custom-developed ATS.  In addition, the study will determine whether current ATS failures are adversely affecting the supportability and availability of the B-52 aircraft.  The sponsor is stationed at Robins AFB in Warner Robins, GA.
